5 Essential Must-Pack Items for a More Enjoyable Travel Experience

In the last 5 years, I have been on over 50 flights. I have traveled to 20 countries and counting and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Over the last few years, I have picked up a few items that make my travels much more enjoyable! All products are linked.

1. A Carry On Luggage Backpack

• I am a carry-on girlie through and through. I was on the hunt for the perfect backpack for a carry-on and found it with the Mother Lode Ebage Backpack. I have taken it on so many trips and it makes my life so much easier as a traveler! Plus I have never had an issue with it fitting in the required size dimensions. This thing has been with me through trains, planes, tuk-tuks, automobiles, and the Amazon rainforest. The quality is amazing!

2. Travel Blanket

• I get cold like real cold on flights... like really cold so I purchased this blanket off of Amazon and it is perfect. It is not large and comes with a carrying handle. Over the last 5 years, I have used this as a blanket, a beach towel, a scarf, and a shoulder skirt. I much prefer this one compared to the fluffy blankets.

3. Packable Daypack with waterproof pocket

I have had A LOT of packable day packs and this one is by far the best one. I love having something that I can use to hike with or take to the beach with and that packs down super small and fits in my carry-on. I love this one as it has a waterproof pocket which is great for soring beverages, food or a wet bathing suit.

4. Airfly

The famous Airfly. I almost didn't buy it because I thought it was going to be so overhyped. I WAS WRONG. If you go on any long-haul flight and have Bluetooth headphones YOU NEED THIS. I tested it out on my 16-hour flight from Seattle to Singapore and I can't begin to explain to you how this changed my trip for the better.

5. Pill Container

Goodbye, plastic baggies and random bottles. This is $3.99 and is worth every penny as it keeps my pills nice and organized. Traveling with over-the-counter medication is a good idea and this helps keep them together.
